Course Description

This course aims to equip legal professionals with the knowledge and tools necessary to address the growing issue of elder abuse and exploitation. Participants will learn about the manipulative tactics commonly used against older adults, as well as the resources available to assist them in navigating financial, social, and physical challenges. The course will also provide practical strategies to prevent victimization and foster collaboration among legal professionals in combating elder abuse. By enhancing awareness of the Elder Justice Hotline and its critical role, attendees will be better prepared to support older adults in their communities effectively.
