This course provides an in-depth examination of the intersection between artificial intelligence and child sexual abuse material (CSAM), focusing on the legal ramifications and enforcement challenges faced by prosecutors. Participants will learn about the different categories of AI-generated CSAM, including deepfakes and purely AI-generated images, and the implications of recent case law, particularly the Seventh Circuit's decision in US v. Anderegg, which addresses First Amendment protections.
