Case Description
The Plaintiff State sought damages and injunctive relief, alleging that Defendant, Arizona State Psychological Association restrained members from truthful advertising and non-coercively soliciting clients. In order to resolve the dispute without further litigation, the parties entered a consent decree enjoining the state association from restraining its members from truthful advertising and non-coercively soliciting clients. In addition, the state was awarded $11,000 for costs of the investigation.
