Case Description

State sought damages and injunctive relief, alleging that Defendant, Chiropractic Association maintained a code of ethics provision restricting members form of advertising and solicitation of patients. In order to resolve the dispute without further litigation, the parties entered a consent decree enjoining the association from restraining its members from certain forms of advertising and solicitation of patients. In addition, Defendant was required to pay $7500 for costs of the investigation.
