Case Description
Illinois brought a complaint against six temporary staffing agencies and a common client, Vee Pak, LLC, alleging that Vee Pak facilitated unlawful agreements among the temporary staffing agencies not to solicit or hire each other’s employees in violation of the Illinois Antitrust Act. The complaint alleges that the no-poach conspiracy among the defendants suppressed the wages of temporary workers employed by the staffing agencies and assigned to Vee Pak’s facilities and prevented workers seeking different employment conditions from moving between the defendants.
In April 2025, the defendants’ motion to dismiss was denied, with the Court finding that Illinois had alleged “extensive facts in support of the alleged conspiracy.”
