Case Description

State of Ohio filed suit against Sorbates manufacturers. Complaint alleged that the manufacturers met to set prices and allocate markets. Case settled. Companies paid Ohio $505,000. After costs money was distributed to nutrition based programs. Companies were also required to put ads in local newspapers announcing the settlement. Case followed DOJ criminal case
