Andrea Godfrey is the deputy chief of staff for the Delaware Department of Justice. In this role, she directly oversees all fiscal operations and human resources for the Department, which consists of six divisions and over 550 employees in multiple offices throughout the State.

Andrea has held various positions with the State of Delaware over the past 19 years. Prior to joining the Delaware DOJ in 2015, Andrea worked for the Delaware Office of Management and Budget as a fiscal and policy analyst, collaborating with agencies to analyze budget and policy issues. Andrea became interested in Criminal Justice while working for the Delaware Justice of the Peace Court as their fiscal administrative officer and court operations manager.

Andrea holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Wilmington University.
