Faculty, Center for Consumer Protection

Melissa Wright is an Assistant Attorney General and the Section Chief of the Consumer Protection Section of the Ohio Attorney General’s Office. In this role, Melissa provides legal advice and assistance with all matters involving the section and with Ohio’s consumer protection laws, including related bankruptcy and multistate matters. Melissa obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Ohio University and her Juris Doctor with honors from Capital University Law School. Melissa has been with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office since 2004. In addition to her Ohio law license, she is licensed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
