Michael joined NAAG in April 2019 as the director of online learning and was promoted to director of learning, compliance, & innovation in April 2021. Prior to joining NAAG, Michael worked for the University of Central Oklahoma as a member of the faculty and staff. During his 17-year tenure at the university, Michael spent the final eight years serving in the Center for eLearning and Connected Environments initially as the lead instructional designer before advancing to management where he served as a senior learning innovations architect. In that role, Michael consulted with numerous organizations, both nationally and internationally, on how to improve their traditional and online learning programs.
In his role at NAAG, Michael provides expertise in online learning, instructional design and technology, web design, and graphic design. He is responsible for the oversight and development of online learning, the online learning management system, and expanding the organization’s on-demand CLE offerings.
