Terry Tolliver is of Counsel with the law firm of Brattain Minnix Garcia. Prior to joining the firm, Terry served as a Supervisory Deputy Attorney General and Deputy Director of Consumer Protection for Attorney General Greg Zoeller, where he prosecuted licensed professionals and protected Hoosiers from common scams. Terry has also served as Deputy Consumer Counselor for the Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor (“OUCC”) and represented the interests of ratepayers, consumers, and the public before the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission.
Terry earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in 1997, his law degree from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2000, and his MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business in 2001.
Terry serves as faculty for the National Attorneys General Training and Research Institute (NAGTRI), the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, the Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs, and Indiana Wesleyan University.
Terry has also served on the Indiana State Bar Association’s Board of Governors, the Indianapolis Bar Association’s Board of Directors, and is a board member of Indiana’s Asian Pacific American Bar Association. He is a Patron Fellow and member of the Indiana State Bar Foundation’s Keystone Society, has been inducted as a Fellow of the Indianapolis Bar Foundation, and serves as a member of the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law’s Alumni Association Board of Directors, where he chairs the student recruiting committee. In addition, Terry serves as Co-Lay Leader for the United Methodist Church’s Central District of Indiana, and chairs his church’s Administrative Council.
Terry and his wife, Suzi, are both life-long Hoosiers currently residing in Greenwood, Indiana with their twin boys, and are active members of Center United Methodist Church in Indianapolis
