The 2026 Annual Conference allows attorneys general, their staff, and the community to discuss legal issues and challenges impacting the states. Part of the conference is open to general registration, and the rest is a private program for attorneys general and their staff.
The event is hosted each spring at a location determined by the Executive Committee.
Call for Proposals
The National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG) invites submissions for conference sessions at the 2026 NAAG Annual Conference, a reimagined national gathering that brings fresh perspectives, dynamic dialogue, and meaningful collaboration to the forefront of state-level legal work.
This year’s event blends private programming with sessions open to all registrants, offering new ways to explore and engage with the most pressing legal issues affecting states today.
We welcome compelling session proposals that spark conversation, deepen understanding, and showcase innovative approaches to the evolving challenges facing attorneys general and their teams.
Proposals should align with the overarching vision of the 2026 conference: bold ideas, practical insights, and cross‑jurisdiction collaboration.
We encourage submissions that introduce new formats, case studies, panels with diverse viewpoints, or interactive discussions.
The deadline for proposals is Friday, February 13, 2026.
If you have any questions, please contact Erin Schechter at eschechter@naag.org
