Request for Proposals!
Hosted by the National Association of Attorneys General and the National Association of State Charity Officials, this conference is the sole annual event at which charity regulators and nonprofit organizations and their attorneys, accountants, fundraisers, and advisors are welcome. Attendees meet and learn about and discuss issues of interest across the sector.
The 2026 NAAG/NASCO Conference will provide an opportunity to hear from regulators and other experts in the nonprofit sector on current issues. We are reaching out broadly to solicit ideas for workshops and presentations that might be useful. There is no budget for speakers’ registration and travel expenses.
In 2025, topics included charitable fundraising practices, religious organizations, ethical challenges when charities have complex organizational structures, and a survey of activities and enforcement actions from across the country.
The deadline for proposals is Monday, March 2, 2026.
To submit a suggested topic, please complete this topic survey.

U.S. Supreme Court Bar Member Information & Courtroom Seating Arrangements
The registration process will require U.S. Supreme Court bar members to provide their legal name, including middle initial, and birth date, as well as SCOTUS bar number, if available. Please note that registrants are not required to be a U.S. Supreme Court bar member to attend the seminar.
If selected for this program, a NAAG representative will reach out to you to collect this information. It is important that you provide it, when requested, to ensure compliance with this requirement.
Due to bar section seating limitations in the Court, a portion of the eligible Supreme Court bar members will be seated in the bar section; all others will be seated in the area located immediately behind the bar section. The bar section seats will be assigned in order of online registration information.
Continuing Legal Education (CLE)
NAAG will apply for CLE per accrediting body guidelines upon request for attendees participating in the seminar. After the conclusion of this event, please complete the CLE Request Form.
