National Courses

Our national courses bring together attorneys general staff from across the country for specialized training on emerging issues and core competencies. These dynamic courses are developed and lead by NAAG faculty and staff and are open to staff from all attorney general offices. Attendance is awarded through a scholarship process, and every effort is made to accept one individual from each jurisdiction per training. National trainings can be conducted in-person and online. When conducted in-person, training is held in a centralized location and recipients receive full funding for airfare, hotel, and meal reimbursement.

Regional Meetings

NAAG region meetings are held annually at the discretion of the region chairs. NAAG hosts meetings for the Eastern, Midwestern, and Southern regions. The Western region organizes and hosts its own meetings.  When hosting a meeting, region chairs will select a topic of focus for their program.

Mobile Courses

Through on-site mobile training, NAAG faculty and staff perform high quality, individualized training for each attorney general office. Mobile courses can be conducted in-person and online. Trainings can be requested directly by attorney general office training coordinators. After requesting a mobile training, attorney general staff will work with our staff to determine the delivery format and timing.

The wait time for on-site, mobile trainings may vary based on the topic of interest and the number of faculty required. We make every effort to provide two on-site, mobile trainings per jurisdiction each calendar year. We are unable guarantee certain types of training but look forward to working with member offices to address their training needs.

Webinars

We regularly host live webinars lead by subject matter experts on a variety of emerging issues and professional skills.

Available Trainings for Partner Organizations

Our trainings extend beyond attorneys general offices because we recognize that interconnectedness between government and non-governmental entities, prosecutorial agencies in other countries, law schools, and other entities with similar missions will contribute to a greater good. If your organization is interested in having NAAG provide training, please contact Suzanne Richards.

NAAG continues to expand curriculum based on the needs of the attorney general community.
