Participants will explore effective strategies for conducting voir dire, including how to prepare questions that elicit meaningful responses from jurors. The course will also address the identification and management of biases, both in jurors and in the courtroom environment. Through practical examples and expert insights, attendees will learn how to craft open-ended and indirect questions that encourage jurors to share their perspectives, ultimately enhancing the selection process. Additionally, the course will cover the strategic use of peremptory challenges and for cause challenges, equipping participants with the tools necessary to build a favorable jury for their case.
