Phil Ziperman presently serves as the Deputy Chief of the Maryland Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division, where he oversees that Office’s enforcement work. Philip previously served as the first Director of the Office of Consumer Protection for the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia, in which capacity Philip organized and managed that office’s first consumer protection agency. Philip has more than 20 years’ experience as a public servant litigating cases on behalf of consumers. Prior to his government service, Philip worked nine years as a trial attorney, primarily litigating toxic tort and medical malpractice cases on behalf of plaintiffs. Philip is a 1990 graduate of the Washington College of Law at the American university. Philip obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts in 1987.
