  • NAAG 2017 Presidential Initiative Summit
    April 27-28, 2017

    NAAG's 2017 Presidential Initiative Summit, “Evolving Challenges in the American Health Care Marketplace", will take place April 27-28 in New York City, New York. The host is NAAG President and Connecticut Attorney General George Jepsen. The Summit's goal is to advance discussion on health care issues and policies that are of national importance and affect the work done is each state.

    David Cordani, president and CEO of Cigna Corporation will provide a keynote address. A proponent of various payment and delivery innovations, he may provide his perspective on the insurer merger cases. Several panels will focus on a variety of health care topics relevant to our work, including consolidation, prescription drug costs, the future of health care reform, and potential state law barriers to competition.

    The Summit will be an exciting opportunity for state and territorial attorneys general, their staff, and interested parties to hear from dozens of health care policy leaders.
