The Office of the Attorney General seeks a dynamic and skilled Assistant Attorney General for our State Agencies Division CURAD Section. This unique position offers an unparalleled opportunity to engage in utility law and directly impact the rates paid by the citizens of the State of Arkansas.
Responsibilities
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Conduct in-depth analysis of corporate strategies, deceisions, and activities within publicly traded utility companies.
– Preparation of comprehensive expert testimony filed in support of the Attorney General’s position in ratemaking.
– Advocate on behalf of Arkansas utility customers in matters before the Arkansas Public Service Commission, state and feeral courts, and other venues.
– Handle factual or policy issues that involve research and analysis of utility ratemaking and other issues impacting the utility rates of Arkansas ratepayers.
– Review and analyze expert testimony filed by other parties.

Qualifications
