Attorney General Symposium

The Attorney General Symposium is an annual conference allowing attorneys general to discuss legal issues and challenges impacting the states. Part of the conference is open to public registration and the rest is a private program for attorneys general and their staff.

The event is hosted each spring at a location determined by the Executive Committee.


2024 Attorney General Spring Symposium

During the 2024 gathering in Chicago, attorneys general will discuss their topics of interest and concern, including: the essential need for general counsels in their offices, emerging ethical quandaries, and deep fake threats from AI, and, a perennial favorite, the Supreme Court update. NAAG President and Oregon Attorney General, Ellen Rosenblum, will showcase youth initiative by featuring high school students speaking about the role social media plays in their lives.
