The  NAAG Chief Deputies/Chiefs of Staff Meeting is an annual program for senior officials in the attorney general offices. It will be held May 12-13, 2022 in San Diego, CA. The meeting agenda will include current topics that are relevant to the role of chief deputies/chiefs of staff. Also, the agenda has been designed to provide attendees with time to network with another and share valuable insights and perspectives.

Scholarship Nominations

Nominations will be due by Thursday, March 17.

This meeting is only open to senior officials in the attorney general offices. NAAG will provide up to two scholarships for each office for staff who serve in the chief deputy/chief of staff or equivalent role. The scholarship will cover:

  • Roundtrip transportation
  • Hotel lodging (hotel reservations should not be made by attendees)
  • Per-diem travel meals
  • Transportation between airport and hotel

NAAG will be following the rules and guidelines provided by the hotel and local (and/or other applicable) jurisdiction.

More specific information related to the COVID protocols in place for this meeting will be outlined in an email to attendees prior to the meeting. In the meantime, please review the latest guidance from the state of California.

CLE

If eligible, NAAG will apply for CLE per CLE accrediting body guidelines. Based on prior years, CLE is typically limited to 1 to 2 hours for this event.
