November 9 – 10 & 14- 15, 2022
Virtual

NAGTRI’s Annual Bankruptcy Seminar will be held online on November 9-10 and 14-15 from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. ET each day. The program will build upon the Bankruptcy 101 on-demand video series recorded in 2021 (five 1.5-hour segments) to introduce the basic concepts that bankruptcy novices will need to understand to benefit from this seminar.  This seminar will be presented with the expectation that all attendees have either watched that series or have an equivalent level of knowledge.  Information on how to access the videos will be provided on registration for this seminar.

As in prior years, this seminar will have segments cover all the major aspects of a bankruptcy case such as the automatic stay and discharge, claims filing, operations during the case and plan confirmation and many more.  We will also have breakout sessions for regulators and tax counsel to consider their specific issues.  We will look to hit the current “hot and emerging topics” and will hear from experienced government counsel, private counsel and professors, and judges who have been handling those new issues.  A preliminary agenda is attached; some topics are still being finalized and the agenda will be updated as that occurs.
