November 15 – 18, 2022
Hosted by Center for Legal Advocacy and Faculty Development
This intensive, learn-by-doing skills program consists of on-demand lessons covering different aspects of trial advocacy, followed by a live, four-day session where participants practice various trial skills based on a fictional civil case file. The session finishes with the participants performing a full mock trial. The on-demand lessons consist of videos, handouts, and self-work for participants to prepare for the live session. Participants will need to complete the on-demand lessons and self-work prior to the live session.
Recommended audience: attorneys with little trial experience, and attorneys looking to sharpen their trial skills
Program length (live session): 4 days
Total estimated time for on-demand lessons and pre-work: 12-14 hours
