According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), a total of 36,210,368 reports of suspected child sexual exploitation were received via its CyberTipline. From these millions of reports, tens of thousands were elevated to law enforcement, and the overall volume of tip reports has increased by more than 20% over the past three years since 2023. Attorney general offices and partners must collaborate and coordinate efforts to address these very serious cases, understand emerging trends, and share best practices to ensure they are utilizing cutting-edge technology and legal tactics to protect our most vulnerable populations.
Part II of this webinar series will focus on generative AI, collaborative approaches, offender accountability, and prevention.
