NAAG will host an informational webinar for members of the attorney general community regarding strategies and policies that could maximize the impact of opioid settlement funds in supporting access to substance use treatment, prevention, and other related activities.

This webinar will provide an overview of various relevant resources developed by the Addiction and Public Policy Initiative within the Georgetown University Law Center O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law, including their Model Opioid Litigation Proceeds Act. We will also hear from an attorney general office regarding what resources and organizations they have already begun to partner with. This webinar is intended to help attorneys general learn about opioid use disorder programs and policies that can be supported, funded, and implemented using abatement funds from opioid-related settlements.

If you have any questions about the content of the webinar, please email Caroline Lannon and Amanda B. Pariseault at clannon@naag.org and apariseault@naag.org.

This webinar is made possible by a grant from the Attorney General Consumer and Prescriber Education Grant Program. The Attorney General Consumer and Prescriber Education Grant Program is funded by the multi-state settlement of consumer fraud claims regarding the marketing of the prescription drug Neurontin.

Registration

This webinar is free and open to the public. If you have any questions, please contact Emily Parsons at eparsons@naag.org.
