A joint program offered through the National Association of Attorneys General Center for Consumer Protection and the National Association of State Charities Officials (NASCO).
This webinar will provide guidance on the practical ethical and legal issues encountered in overseeing the work performed by the knowledgeable and responsible staff of charities regulators who are not licensed attorneys and new attorneys. What are they permitted to do? What are they prohibited from doing? What is the appropriate level of oversight of these staff members? What training should be provided to these staff members?
Speaker
- James Sheehan, Chief of the New York Attorney General’s Charities Bureau
Registration Deadline: February 25, 2025, Noon ET
This free virtual training is a closed session for attorneys general, attorney general staff, and charity regulators only.
