This interactive webinar offers information on developing and updating position descriptions as tools that support overall performance management. The presenter will:

  • Address the value and purpose of job descriptions and essential content.
  • Suggest best practices for writing useful job descriptions.
  • Discuss job description samples and reference the differences between descriptions and work plans.

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in an activity applying the material presented. Attendees are encouraged to submit questions and examples for the presenter to address during the webinar, as well as to provide questions and comments throughout the session.


The webinar is intended for attorneys, management, administration, support, and all service professionals in the office (i.e., IT, Investigators, Press Officers, Human Resources).
