The Civil Litigation Unit has openings for (1) a general civil litigation attorney and (2) a health care litigation attorney.
Responsibilities
The successful candidates will represent the State, its agencies, and employees before state and federal trial and appellate courts as well as administrative proceedings. A significant portion of the unit’s work concerns healthcare-related issues.
Qualifications
The ideal candidates will have civil litigation experience with routine and complex civil disputes before state, federal and administrative tribunals; excellent analytical and writing skills; and, for the healthcare litigation position, a demonstrated interest in that field. Attorneys with state of federal judicial clerkship experience are encouraged to apply.
