Case Description
West Virginia intervened in the vitamins antitrust litigation pending in West Virginia for purposes of settling price fixing and market allocation agreements among the defendants. The defendants settled the action in conjunction with private plaintiffs and the State. The State then implemented a comprehensive grant program to distribute the proceeds of the settlement to West Virginia entities.
