Case Description
Lawsuits were filed in two federal district courts in Florida alleging that Defendants conspired to restrain trade by allocating contracts and groups of contracts to supply liquid chlorine. A settlement was reached on behalf of all state agencies and units of government that bought liquid chlorine between 1979 and 1992. The settlement sum totaled $865,000. Proceeds of the settlement were distributed to the government entities of the State of Florida who were affected by the alleged conspiracy.
