To resolve concerns about reduction of competition in the retail supermarket market in Vermont, MTH Holdings agreed to divest 12 stores throughout the state within nine months of closing. If such divestitures are not made, a trustee will be appointed by the Attorney General to effect the divestitures. For ten years, MTH shall not acquire supermarkets in the state without the consent of the Attorney General. The parties paid $15,000 in costs.
