Case Description

State sought damages and injunctive relief, alleging that Defendants conspired with one another to collectively refuse to participate in or collectively refuse to withdraw from the Michigan Medicaid Program. In order to resolve the dispute without further litigation, the parties entered a Consent Decree by which Defendants agreed to refrain from entering any agreement having the effect of restricting or suppressing the ability on the part of any of the members of the Michigan Association of Ambulance Services or any other Defendant to deal with the Medicaid Program.
