Case Description
Defendants conspired to rig bids and allocate geographic areas in New York with respect to contracts for sale or sale and application of epoxy line striping in violation of the Sherman Act (15 U.S.C. § 1) and the Donnelly Act (New York General Business Law §§ 340-347). Defendants discussed the submission of prospective bids, submitted intentionally high or complementary bids for contracts, and submitted bids containing false information. The case settled with Swanston Equipment on January 11, 1994 for $135,000 plus accrued interest. The case settled with Oglesby Construction, Inc. on October 20, 1994 for $775,000 plus accrued interest.
