Case Description
Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office filed an action in November 1991 in federal court in Philadelphia against two Bucks County milk distributors alleging a conspiracy to rig the bids received by the School District of Philadelphia for its 1986 milk contract in violation of section 1 of the Sherman Act and the Pennsylvania Antibid-Rigging Act. Both parties agreed to settle for a total of $275,000; $210,000 to be paid to the School District of Philadelphia and the remainder to Attorney General for future antitrust enforcement purposes.
