Consent agreement entered into by Pennsylvania Attorney General, Altoona Hospital, and Bon Secours Holy Family Regional Health System. The consent decree requires the merged hospital system to accept applications for privileges from doctors in most specialties and to allow doctors with existing privileges at either hospital to continue to have privileges in the new system. The consent agreement also prohibits the hospital system from discriminating against consumers who purchase non-inpatient health care services from providers other than the newly merged facility and requires the hospital system to give the AG 30-day notice before hiring additional doctors.
