Case Description
The State alleged that defendants engaged in a conspiracy to fix prices, rotate bids, allocate locations of vending machines and eliminate discounts. Defendants settled for the following amounts:
Pepsi/Pepsi related defendants: $200,000 damages and restitution to consumers; $200,000 attorneys fees; $15,000 civil penalty. Coca Cola: $123,000 damages and restitution; $50,000 attorneys fees; $10,000 civil penalty. Richard Pelo: $50,000 damages and restitution; $50,000 attorneys fees; $10,000 civil penalty.
