Bill Wynhoff joined the Hawaiʻi Department of Attorney General in 2001 and retired in June 2021. At the time, Bill was the supervising deputy of the Department’s Land/Transportation Division.

Bill also handled complex dispute resolution matters for all State agencies and departments. His cases included resource protection, environmental, and constitutional matters. He has tried dozens of cases in state, federal, and administrative tribunals, argued over 40 cases in appellate courts, and worked on briefing and preparing several United States Supreme Court cases. Before 2001, Bill was in private practice in Honolulu. His practice focused on complex real estate and commercial litigation.
