John J. Bajger is a Chief Assistant Attorney General with the Florida Office of the Attorney General. He oversees the South Florida Civil Litigation Division, which represents State Agencies and public officials in civil litigation arising in South Florida. Prior to joining the OAG, John worked as an assistant public defender in Fort Pierce, Florida, representing indigent criminal defendants. He received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in English from Florida Atlantic University and is a cum laude graduate of St. Thomas University School of Law. For several years, he served as an adjunct instructor in English at Florida Atlantic University. He currently serves on the executive council of the Government Lawyer’s Section of the Florida Bar.
