Keisha Cretsinger is a graduate of Simpson College and the University of Iowa College of Law. After a brief period of civil work and criminal prosecution in the state of Wisconsin, she returned home to Iowa to work as Assistant County Attorney in Story County. During her ten years with that office she focused primarily on prosecution of domestic violence and sexual assault cases under a partial grant from the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA). As an Assistant Attorney General Keisha now works in the Area Prosecutions Division representing the State of Iowa in Sexually Violent Predator civil commitments in addition to prosecuting sexual assault and homicide cases.
