The attorneys general proposed several amendments to the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) to stabilize the Crime Victims Fund, including:

  1. Redirecting fines and fees from corporate deferred and non-prosecution agreements to the Fund.
  2. Increasing the rate of federal reimbursement to states for victim compensation programs.
  3. Extending the amount of time VOCA funds can be spent.
