Resolution
In response to an opinion by the Attorney General of Connecticut, the Secretary of States has filed a declaratory judgment in Connecticut Superior Court to change the interpretation of the qualifications for office of Attorney General. The Connecticut Supreme Court issued a single-page ruling holding that Bysiewicz’s was not qualified to serve as Attorney General of Connecticut due to constitutional requirements.
