WHO: The National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG) is holding a one-and-a-half-day Presidential Initiative Summit in Lafayette, La. Hosted by NAAG President and Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry, it will focus on “Emergency and Crisis Management.”
WHAT: Topics to be addressed range from maintaining communications during a disaster, active shooter preparation and response, procurement laws and more.
Speakers include U.S. Congressman Garrett Graves; U.S. Attorney David C. Joseph, Western District of Louisiana; Mark McQueen, city manager, Panama City, Fla.; Daniel Gordon, head of trust and safety, GoFundMe; and Chris Anderson, chief, Public Safety and Homeland Security Operation and Emergency Management Division, FCC.
