WHO: The National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG) Southern Region is holding a one-and-a-half-day meeting in Nashville, Tenn. It will focus on “Healthcare Dynamics in the 21st Century” and Tennessee Attorney Herbert H. Slatery III will host. He serves as chair of the NAAG Southern Region.*
WHAT: Keynote speakers are Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam and Alberto Gonzales, dean of Belmont University College of Law and former U.S. attorney general (2005-2007).
Topics to be addressed include the future of health care, elder care and elder abuse prevention, opioid addiction – crisis and trends, and payors and providers in health care.
