The National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG) is holding a one-and-a-half-day Presidential Initiative Summit in Manhattan, Kan. Hosted by NAAG President and Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt, it will focus on “Protecting America’s Seniors: Attorneys General United Against Elder Abuse.”
Speakers include Roberta Flowers, co-director, Center for Excellence in Elder Law, Stetson University College of Law; Ed Hutchison, executive director, National Association of Triads, Inc.; Richard B. Myers, Kansas State University president; and Laura Mosqueda, M.D., interim dean, Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California.
WHAT:
Topics to be addressed range from the medical dynamics of aging, elder abuse investigations and senior consumer protection to financial relationships and interagency partnerships.
