The increased frequency and scale of recent ransomware attacks on critical infrastructure and private networks has raised serious concerns and questions about the cyber vulnerabilities of our nation’s public and private sector networks, particularly critical infrastructure. This on-demand course provides an update on the state of state cybersecurity, including state critical assets generally, and government networks. Speakers discuss some of the common themes and trends in recent ransomware attacks and other cyber disruptions more broadly, highlight additional cyberthreats on the horizon, and recommend guidance to attorney general offices to harden systems and implement critical cybersecurity practices. Speakers also provide their views on ways attorney general offices can help enhance public and private sector cybersecurity more broadly.
