Join NAAG President and District of Columbia Attorney General Karl A. Racine as he kicks off his 2021 Presidential Initiative, “The People v. Hate: Standing Up for Humanity” with a webinar on Feb. 25 from 3:15 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET. This webinar, in celebration of Black History Month, will feature a virtual “fireside chat” with Professor Theodore Shaw.

Professor Shaw is the former Legal Defense Fund director for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and currently serves as the Julius Chambers distinguished professor of law at the University of North Carolina. He will provide his views on the state of hate in America through the lens of the African-American experience, past and present, with the goal of inspiring attorneys general and their staff in their actions to combat hate.
